OVERVIEW OF THE OPPORTUNITY
Equilar has an immediate opening for an entry level QA Engineer to join the Engineering team in our Redwood Shores headquarters. This position will be primarily responsible for software quality assurance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Write test plans.
Write and execute test cases.
Create status reports on testing progress.
Participate in requirements analysis.
Participate in release management activities.
Participate in production monitoring of issues.
Identify bug trends and drive resolution process.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or EE, or relevant industry experience.
The ability to work legally in the US for any employer (we will not sponsor visas for this position).
Good problem solving and debugging skills.
Ability to learn new technologies and tools rapidly.
Self-motivated, independent and proactive.
