Seeking a Jr. Level Resource or recent college graduate to assist Senior DBAs in use of best practices and application database solutions in providing database administration support for business applications. Use approved toolsets and methods to maintain RDMS at appropriate levels of performance and availability.
Major Accountabilities:
Assist Sr. DBA or management staff performing database activities.
Requires supervision: works on tasks as assigned.
Must follow all established policies and best practices.
Education:
Associates Degree in Information systems or equivalent experience.
Knowledge / Experience:
0 to 12 months of practical experience in Information systems as a DBA
Basic knowledge of Database Structure and Data Models.
Basic Backup and Recovery Knowledge.
Basic Coding Skill.
Knowledge. Skills/ Abilities:
Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills
Ability to Multitask
Ability to be a team player.
