Job Requirements:
- BS/BA required in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Mid-level developer with minimum 3+ years front-end development experience
- Expert proficiency in XHTML and CSS
- Intermediate to expert proficiency in Javascript, AJAX, and DOM scripting
- Experience using Photoshop/ImageReady for image slicing and optimization
- Familiar with Perl, PHP, or related programming language
- Able to hand-code standards-compliant pages using table-less layouts from design mockups (written test will be given)
- Familiar with cross-platform and cross-browser issues, web standards and best practices, and why we should develop with those in mind
- Able to work effectively and independently on multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Able to work both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
- Able to switch rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced and exciting environment
- Comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders and departments
- Extremely detail oriented, self-motivated, disciplined, organized, self-sufficient, proactive, and take ownership of work assigned
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Can communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good design/UI sense
- Able to perform/learn new tasks outside the candidates immediate range of skills
- Comfortable with adult content
- Provide a portfolio website with examples of your past work
Desired Skills:
- Basic to intermediate Perl or PHP programming experience
- Basic to intermediate Flash/Actionscript experience
- Basic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experience
- Basic to intermediate graphic design skills
- Experience in developing social networking sites
