Development Lead and Developers – please read this entire post before replying
A major global bank requires a Development Lead to manage a required Equities software engineering team of 5+ strong C/C++/Java/Database developers. Accountabilities include design and implementation of service oriented architecture (SOA) supporting all Equities business lines including Cash, Program Trading, Algorithmic execution and DMA. Candidate must have prior experience delivering reusable software services via well defined interfaces and messaging standards, and according to SOA best practices.
Candidate will also be responsible for maintaining collaborative relationships with Product managers, business leads and software development teams to ensure transparency and project scope. Use of Agile SDLC, formal project management tools (MS Project, etc.) and implementation analyses is expected.
Qualifications include:
5+ years of experience in leading 10+ development team as well as 5+ years of experience in C/C++/Java/Database/Middleware/FIX development and engineering.
Experience in object oriented design methodology, distributed systems and service-oriented Architecture
Experience with Tibco, 29West/LBM, FIX 4.+, low-latency architectures, Oracle, IMDB design and implementation a plus.
MUST have strong financial house experience
