Looking for a strong DBA that likes being a DBA….
We have several large database servers including a 2008 cluster. Each server has several instances.
We have another 30 or so mid-size databases running as back-end data stores to off the shelf applications.
There are another 100 or more running on various PCs and servers.
Were looking for a person who
o Has a strong desire to work in the DBA role (as opposed to a developer)
o Has strong experience in database tuning and maintenance
o Is knowledgeable about what must be monitored and measured
o Understands database security and authentication in an enterprise environment
