Quality Assurance – (New York) – please read this entire post before replying
A major global bank requires Quality Assurance for a global application group. The QA professional would be responsible for assessing, designing and implementing a regional QA capability for end-to-end and integration testing prior to deployment. Existing QA resources focused on unit testing would hand off software to the regional QA Architects prior to deployment to the Production environment.
Candidate must function easily within a large and complex structure and must demonstrate high organization, attention to detail and extraordinary competence. This position may change to permanent at some point if both parties desire the change.
Candidates MUST possess the following experience:
Cash Platform testing/architecture (BRASS / Fidessa Enterprise including OMAR, EMMA, CTAC) including end-to-end testing, algorithmic integration, order routing, compliance and performance reporting and FIX connectivity.
Experience with high-volume trading platforms and automated trading systems.
Knowledge of FIX tools and procedures for testing connectivity.
Financial experience a must
