Quality Assurance Tech

Were currently seeking an Quality Assurance Tech to join our UGO team to be behind the scenes and actively involved in the daily delivery of this exciting entertainment site providing thorough examinations of all advertising and editorial executions prior to deployment.
Responsibilities:
· Testing ads and new site features on multiple browsers and platforms to diagnose bugs
· Log issues in QA software, and update fixes and resolutions
· Communicating to key team members the update status of issues/bugs and give final approval to push features and ads live
· Resolve and Fix bugs when possible
· Good verbal and written communication skills in a cross group collaboration; communicating with team members to address and diagnose issues that arise
Requirements:
· Outstanding problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with consistent, strict attention to detail
· Strong proofreading skills
· Ability to develop and execute test cases and test plans for websites, interactive ad units, and web analytics technologies
· The candidate needs to be familiar and have developer experiences with internet technologies (HTML, JavaScript, Flash, ASP,ASP.NET, PHP and SQL)
· Strong sense of aesthetics and an eye for problems with visual design issues
· Self-motivated, eager to work with and be a part of a team
· The ability to see the big picture as well as understand the fine details of the online media.
· Excellent communication capabilities in converting tech-speak to laymen terms
· Excited about trying to find creative ways to test (and break) Flash ads and websites
· Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage work to project timelines
· Bachelors degree in a technical field, or have equivalent experiences with internet technologies
· 2-4 years QA experience in a related industry
