Currently, we have a great opportunity for a Senior Air/Flex Developer in our Los Angeles, CA office. The ideal candidate will be able to manage their time effectively while they design and implement exciting and intuitive interface elements.
Job Description
*Help design and implement intuitive and exciting User Interfaces
*Write, test and debug User Interface code
*Ensure quality application architecture and software design
*Rapidly prototype and iterate User Interface element and flows
*Liaise with designers, producers, and artists to implement new UI features
*Write clear, clean, readable, portable, reliable, and manageable code
Requirements
*Proven experience architecting and developing rich client applications with Flex 3 and Air 1.5
*Excellent knowledge of UI architectural patterns
*Significant experience writing automated unit and functional tests
*High degree of proficiency with Actionscript 3 and Flash 9/10
*Experience mentoring junior developers
*Experience with end user usability paradigms for web and desktop applications
*Creativity and the ability to design and implement intuitive interfaces
*Positive, self starting, team-oriented attitude
*Must be legally authorized or able to obtain legal authorization to work in the US
Desired
*Experience in an Agile development team
*Has a demonstrated interest or experience in the game industry
*User Experience design experience for games or other media
*Familiarity with After Effects a plus
*Experience with server-side Java development, including use of Spring Framework, Hibernate, Oracle Coherence
*Experience with Adobe LCDS
*Development experience with front-end web development technologies including:

—CSS
*Familiarity with Scaleform GFX
