Senior Software Developer:
This is an excellent opportunity to get in on the ground floor of the designing and deploying of our new proprietary web-serving software. You will participate in full life cycle development, including gathering and analyzing requirements, design, development, enhancement, and troubleshooting. Applicants must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to work in a collaborative team environment.
Technical Requirements:
Extensive experience working with large data stores
Experience with MySQL and lightweight data-handling is a plus
Deep understanding of storage appliance and storage software internals
Expert knowledge developing and debugging in C/C++ and Java on *nix
Experience developing with Python, Ruby, or PHP
Experience with file systems, server architectures, and distributed systems
Media industry experience also a plus!
Additional Qualifications:
Experience working with a team to design and execute software
Collaborative development with multiple programmers
Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning, problem recognition, and problem resolution skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
