Xap is seeking an experienced and talented Software Developer (.NET). The successful candidate will possess the following skills.
Qualifications:
B.S. in Computer Science from a 4-year university
Hands-on experience in script/database driven web sites
Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, Java or C#
Ability to write HTML in plain text editor
Thorough knowledge of ASP.NET and IIS
Must know how to integrate with MS SQL Server or Oracle (Desirable)
Must know general database theory
Completely proficient in Windows 2000/XP/2003
Knowledge and experience with Unix/Linux and C/C++ helpful
Must have ability to work collaboratively with a variety of teams and team members.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain websites utilizing ASP.NET
Support, update an implement product features into new and existing websites
Develop improvements for existing processes
Multitask between regular task requests, small projects and work as a team on larger projects
Aid in conversion to new technologies
Work with all popular web browsers
Provide development and testing support to product management team
Work with engineering and customer service teams to resolve problems, outages or slowdowns
