We currently have an opening for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our team in engineering desktop and web-based software based on project specifications and to assist with the technical architecture of new projects. The ideal candidate must satisfy internal and external customers through excellent customer service, be a peer leader and mentor, and build project transparency between Research, User Experience, QA, and Development teams.
Qualifications:
Significant experience with .NET 2.0/3.5 and Visual Studio 2008 (C# preferred) front and back end development, ADO.NET and/or LINQ
Strong HTML/CSS along with JQuery and/or other AJAX technologies
SQL Server 2005 and/or 2008 – designing relational databases, writing stored procedures, triggers, DDL & DQL
Experience with Silverlight is a plus
Experience with WWF, Sharepoint is a plus
Responsibilities:
Develop innovative solutions in a product development environment
Create reusable code libraries and reusable web and user controls
Incorporate Agile methodology with Scrum management and full SDLC exposure
Handle complex integration and data migration projects
Consult with clients (internal and external) and turn verbal communications into technical documents and satisfactory deliverables
Create accurate estimates of time and effort
Work on multiple projects simultaneously with little oversight
Work well on cross-functional team(s)
