Job Description:
The SAP functional architect position will provide functional and technical leadership and consultation for various CRM initiatives. Additional responsibilities include assessing all CRM capabilities as they pertain to the business, some project work as well as some hands on functional configuration required. In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring that CRM configuration and technical design is appropriately deployed and integrated into the development lifecycle. Responsible for development, maintenance, and enhancement of the CRM roadmap for the company, across the entire solution set for the CRM, with emphasis in marketing, sales and service. Strong functional CRM process knowledge, configuration knowledge and experience a must. Additional working knowledge and training in SAP BW, Basis and Security required. Oversee the overall strategic SAP CRM core components architecture focusing on functional design. Provide end-to-end business process guidance and solution definition for the configuration and gap development on SAP CRM and related modules. Participate in SAP enterprise solution design review sessions to help ensure that a robust application framework and roadmap is achieved for the SAP footprint in the organization|nSupport the development of business cases for new SAP CRM initiatives, participate in blueprint and design sessions while communicating the benefits, risks and constraints to the business and Information Technology stakeholders and support the implementations by reviewing deliverables and helping to ensure that projects adhere to design specifications. Participate in the company¡¦s process and technology standardization review process as owner of the SAP CRM solution, contributing to the architectural frameworks and approaches. Provide detailed business process knowledge, expert level SAP configuration capabilities and SAP transaction level knowledge to development projects and production support. Business expertise areas include Marketing, Sales and Service. May provide project management responsibilities on small and medium size development projects. Thorough working knowledge of the IT Software Development Lifecycle and the ability to development and deliver all lifecycle phase documentation including concept, business case, requirements, design, test scripts, test plans, test data creation, test results, Implementation plans, production acceptance criteria, post implementation reviews, training programs, etc. Ability to develop and document project plans.
Minimum Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in information systems, computer science, business, or equivalent work experience and technical training is required. Ten years of progressive experience in SAP CRM functional design roles with experience in full lifecycle SAP enterprise implementations. Strong experience architecting and delivering complex SAP CRM enterprise solutions serving as the primary functional leader. Experience with CRM 2005 and 7.0 required, expert on CRM landscapes and related architecture required, Netweaver and PI version 7.1 experience a must, experience with CRM web services required. Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 a plus, BW and Portal/MDM a plus knowledge of .Net and other Microsoft platforms and their interoperability with SAP products. Strong knowledge of architectural design techniques including OO, top down structured analysis and component based design solutions driven approach to architecture design. Experience with ASAP and traditional IT SDLC methodologies required. Excellent teaming and interpersonal skills a must. Excellent personal computer skills, MS Word, Excel, MS Projects, etc. Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and writing skills. Excellent project management skills.
