We currently have an opening for a web and mobile applications developer. While there are no rigidly defined experience or education
requirements, we do require a demonstrable passion for software development with a strong aptitude and desire to learn and grow with a young company.
Great communication, writing skills, and attention to detail will be extremely important for this dynamic and challenging position.
The ideal candidate will have experience in most of these areas:
-Strong HTML/JS/CSS development skills and experience
-PHP
-ASP.NET / C#
-Adobe Dreamweaver
-Adobe Photoshop (comfortable taking designs and cutting images for web and/or mobile applications)
-Experience and conceptual understanding of database systems (MySql, MSSQL, Oracle…)
-Customer Service and strong writing skills
-Familiarity with different web browsers and different operating systems
-Experience with administering windows and linux based servers
-Source control systems (subversion, cvs, VSS)
Skills working with any mobile device platforms will be a huge plus:
-iPhone / Objective C/C/C++
-BlackBerry
-Android
-Windows Mobile
Any experience or desire to learn the following would be even better:
-Flash/Actionscript
-Filemaker
-Adobe Illustrator
-Social media application integration
-Design experience
Successful applicants will be required to take an in-person code test and be comfortable explaining their work process to other developers.
Opening is for a full time, in-house, salaried position. Fulltime benefits begin after 90 days and include paid health and dental insurance,
2 weeks paid vacation, 9 paid company holidays, and flex time when available.
