Required Skills and Background:
MS in Computer Science or BS plus equivalent experience
3+ years of database/data warehouse experience as a Consultant, Architect, DBA, database engineer, or data modeling role.
3+ years of programming experience, including C/C++ and Java plus either Python or PERL
3+ years of experience working with Linux
Major consultancy firm background a plus
Hadoop and/or MapReduce experience a plus
Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills able to present to technical thought leaders, including senior DBAs, data warehouse architects and database developers
Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
Must be willing to travel (no visa restrictions) 50% plus
